LEGACY VESSEL RESEARCH
Keep a missing legacy part from stalling the entire restoration.
PartWake helps Florida boatyards and restoration teams turn photos, broken pieces, partial numbers, measurements, and empty mounting locations into documented research paths.
Older boats rarely arrive with complete records
Labels disappear, manufacturers close, numbers change, catalogs go offline, and previous repairs alter the original installation. PartWake organizes the evidence your team can still recover and follows it across archived documentation, manufacturer records, supersessions, technical references, and credible parts sources.
Useful evidence from a restoration project
- Builder, model, approximate year, hull number context, and system location.
- Front, back, side, mounting-face, marking, connector, and installed-location photos.
- Fastener patterns, cutout dimensions, thread details, materials, voltage, and hose or cable connections.
- Original manuals, invoices, drawings, packaging, or handwritten service notes.
- Broken fragments, witness marks, and the surrounding installation when the component is gone.
A report your team can return to
PartWake separates supported findings from assumptions. Each completed report records the likely identity, source trail, confidence level, possible supersessions or replacement paths, contradictions, and the checks that remain before purchase or installation.
Organize research by customer craft
Shop and Fleet members receive a private Boathouse for crafts, cases, photos, manuals, and reports. That gives the next technician a documented starting point instead of restarting the same search.
Plans for restoration workloads
Shop — $149/month: 10 Full Research searches monthly, $14 additional searches, a private Boathouse, and Priority Member Support.
Fleet — $249/month: unlimited legitimate searches under the Fleet Fair Use Policy, up to three named users, a Fleet Boathouse, and Priority Member Support.
Common questions
Can we submit an empty mounting location?
Yes. Include wide and close views, measurements, hole spacing, connections, nearby components, and the location’s function.
What happens when no responsible match is found?
The report is marked Unresolved and identifies the most useful next evidence. PartWake does not turn uncertainty into a sales claim.
Can reports stay with the vessel?
Membership Boathouses are designed to organize crafts and their continuing research together.
